In Dusty’s story, “New Animal Life”, in Ex-Earth, Jumba is partners with Professor E. Gadd as they run their own science company together in the Mushroom Kingdom. Pleakley is the Mario Family’s royal advisor. Jumba wears his science lab coat outfit and Pleakley wears his Galactic Federation outfit.
